The Winterfell, a premium homestay offers exquisite cottages with a 360 view of the salubrious mountain from the private balconies in the cottages, an infinity pool with unhindered views of the coffee plantation & mountains and a private space to enjoy the best of Coorg.
It is a pleasant 4 hour drive from Bangalore and 6 km upwards of the main town of Somwarpet.
You can relish authentic traditional Coorg cuisine giving you the best moments out of your trip.

The homestay is fully-serviced, with an on-site caretaker dedicated to making your stay hassle-free.
Our cook, will prepare healthy home-cooked meals using locally sourced fresh ingredients.
For safety purposes, there are CCTV cameras installed at the entrance, in the backyard, outside sections, dinning & common areas.

The check-in and check-out timings mentioned online and informed over phone need to be followed strictly.

Child Policies :
Children of any age are welcome.
For Children under 7 years of age we don’t charge.
Children in the age group of 8 to 13 years it’s Half charges.
Children aged 14 years and above it’s full charges at this property.

About the Property:
The Homestay experiences load shedding and electricity
disruption due to power fluctuation, we have UPS & Generator as a backup which burns out beyond 11 hours of usage.
However, we advice our guests to plan additional 2 hours of usage from Generator very efficiently. Additional more hours can be arranged at an additional charges.
Post 11 pm when the city lights go down, or around the time of the New Moon Day, you can see the Milky Way.
On prior request, an assisted tour of the coffee plantation can be conducted or guests can go on a trail of the plantation.
Bon Fire provided with additional charges.
Tea/Coffee will be served during breakfast and evening tea time. If you would like tea/coffee at any other time of the day, it can be arranged at an additional charge.
Lunch, Extra Meal and Snacks charges will be collected as additional charges.
Post 11 pm when the city lights go down, or around the time of the New Moon Day, you can see the Milky Way.
On prior request, an assisted tour of the coffee plantation can be conducted or guests can go on a trail of the plantation.

• Guests are prohibited from Smoking and setting up hookahs in the rooms/cottages/lawn area and at the coffee plantation.
• We do not encourage parties and late-night revelry. Loud music is not permitted beyond 10 pm.
• Usage of swimming pool and indoor games are complimentary (subject to availability, if not under maintenance).
• The pool is unguarded. There is no lifeguard on site. Children in the pool must be accompanied by adults at all times.
• Guests are requested to take care of all personal valuables. Management is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to any items.
• Guest will be held responsible for any loss or damages to Homestay property caused by themselves, their friends or family members or any person for whom they are responsible.
• Illegal activities including but not limited to carrying/consuming drugs/narcotics and carrying firearms/weapons are prohibited on the property. Management reserves the right to report any such activities to local authorities.
• As required by law, every guest above 18 years must carry government-approved photo ID proof, that shows address. We accept only Aadhar Cards, Driving License and Passports.
• No crackers or colours are permitted in this homestay.
• No pets allowed.
• Inappropriate behaviour or violation of any of the above Homestay Rules will invite a polite refusal to accept a Booking. If already checked in, Management reserves the right to ask guests to leave.
• Guests are prohibited from Smoking and setting up hookahs in the rooms/cottages/lawn area and at the coffee plantation.
